Description
Almec Fencing are specialists in sports mesh systems, with the most commonly supplied option being the Dual® Sports 868 Rebound. This rigid twin 8mm wire design features additional horizontal wires in the lower 1200mm section of the panel. These extra wires reduce the panel apertures to 50 x 66mm, creating a strong rebound surface and reinforcing the area of the panel that receives the most impact. Where required, this dense double-wire pattern can be extended throughout the full height of the panel to form a solid rebound mesh wall.
A familiar sight in schools and leisure centres, Dual® 868 has also been specified for some of the UK’s most prestigious sporting projects. Almec Fencing support clients and architects by drawing on a wealth of industry experience and expertise.
Both Dual® 868 and standard Dual panels can also be supplied in a lighter 6/5/6 configuration; however, Almec Fencing strongly recommend the heavier 8/6/8 panels for sporting environments.
For sports where rebound is less critical, such as tennis, standard Dual panels may be the preferred option.
